Before you buy: 6 Things to look for when buying slippers

We’ve already put in the “leg work” – get it? – to find and review the best men’s slippers on the market, so you don’t have to. But it’s still good to know what to look for when comparing the different slippers out there. Here are our top tips for choosing a pair.

1. Comfort

Comfort is kind of the point of slippers.

After all, they’re meant to be worn around the house, often paired with pajamas or a robe.

But here’s the thing:

Slipper comfort exists on a sort of spectrum. And the further you get to one side of that spectrum, the more compromise there tends to be.

For instance, the most absurdly comfortable slippers also tend to be the least versatile and durable. They’re the kind of slippers you probably don’t want to wear outside – and definitely don’t want to get wet.

But if you go too far in the functionality direction, well, you’re no longer even wearing slippers… you’re wearing shoes, or maybe sandals.

So, it’s worth paying close attention to the comfort level of your slippers – and making sure you balance your desired comfort level with any other wants or needs you have, like durability and price.

2. Warmth

Slippers are often seen as a way to keep your feet warm. And for good reason:

They’re awesome at it.

But how warm, exactly, you want them to be is going to vary widely based on the outside temperature where you live, the temperature inside your home (or workplace, camping tent, etc.), and your own personal preferences.

On one hand, you have the “always cold” kind of guy who lives in a cold climate and wants maximum warmth.

On the other hand, there’s the guy living in a warm or even hot climate, who just wants something light and breathable to wear around the house and maybe protect his toes when the AC is blasting.

Fortunately, there are slippers for both – and everyone else in between.

Just make sure you know your situation and how each slipper will fit it. If you live in an area with a big temperature difference from season to season, you may even want to consider multiple pairs of slippers, with one for each season.

A warmer pair for winter, a cooler pair for summer, and so on.

3. Type

We all have our preferred types: type of music, type of women, and type of Pokémon. Grass-type, for the win, baby.

And surprise, surprise, slippers are no different, coming in a variety of different types. Here are the most common varieties:

  • Loafers and slip-on slippers

These put the slip into slippers. They’re easy to put on and cover the entire foot, toe to heel (unlike mules).

  • Moccasin slippers

Moccasins are typically made with animal hide, which makes them lightweight, durable, and versatile. Oh, and comfortable, too.

  • Mules and clogs

These types of slippers don’t have a back, making them the easiest to slip on – but the least warm and supportive.

  • Boot slippers

The high ankle design keeps out cold and holds in warmth, making them one of the best warm slippers.

  • Outdoor slippers

With tougher soles and a bit of weather treatment, these slippers are suited for short trips outdoors, at least into the yard or driveway.

  • Orthopedic slippers

With built-in support and padding, orthopedic slippers are great for guys with plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, or other uncomfortable foot problems.

4. Material

Pay attention, because this may just be the most important feature to consider when choosing a slipper.

Yes, we’re talking about the material. But why is it so important?

Because almost every other factor, from comfort and warmth to versatility and durability, as well as price, are dictated by what the slipper is made out of.

For instance, simple cotton might make for some pretty affordable and comfortable slippers, but they lack durability. Meanwhile, leather slippers will hold up a lot longer – but they cost more.

Wool is warm, but you don’t want to get it wet. It’s not versatile, in other words. While canvas is a little more resistant but doesn’t provide as much protection from the cold.

And then there are the rarer materials, like live sharks. Be careful with your toes!

Of course, some of the best slippers, like our #1 pick, use a combination of materials, in order to harness the advantages while minimizing the disadvantages of each one.

5. Sole

Your slipper soles can make the difference between a pair that can easily and comfortably be worn down to the mailbox or even for a quick beer run… and a pair that absolutely should not be worn outside.

This is especially true if you live in a wet, snowy, or icy area.

Because even a firm sole that lacks the proper grip can send you slipping and sliding all across your porch and down the driveway. Not fun.

The flooring inside your house makes a difference too. If you’re walking around on hardwood, tile, or other hard surfaces, you’ll probably want a slightly thicker or more supportive sole. But on the carpet, it doesn’t matter as much.

In short, make sure to check the sole before you buy, to see if it’s suitable for the kind of surfaces you’ll be walking on.

6. Price

The importance of price differs from guy to guy.

But it’s still a factor for pretty much everyone.

After all, even most rich or wealthy men don’t want to spend more money than they need to – or pay a lot for a product that’s not worth it.

With that in mind, we tried to make our picks based on value. From the cheapest to the most expensive pair on our list, you’re actually getting what you’re paying for, in our humble opinion.

And you should take the same approach when doing your own shopping. Don’t just buy the highest-priced pair assuming that they’re good. But don’t buy a cheap pair that’s going to fall apart in a week either.

The best slippers for

Men who want the best overall slippers they can buy

Overview

Cold feet are the worst.

Seriously. Like, how many times have we woken up but hesitated to get out of bed, all because we dreaded that cold, clammy feeling that awaited our feet when we scamper to the bathroom for our morning leak?

Just thinking about it sends a chill up our spine.

Then, when you finally work up the will to face the day, you’ve got to put on three layers of socks just to keep your toesies warm.

No more, our friends. No more.

Because UGGs are here to save the day.

Yes, UGGs.

We know, we know. You think they’re for chicks, given how much your wife, girlfriend, sister, and/or every sorority girl on earth love them.

But guys can rock them too. In fact, we encourage it.

And once you feel this fuzzy, lush, unbelievably warm sheep’s wool cradling and caressing your feet, you’ll know why.

Yeah, these things are comfy, and they’re warm. Comfier and warmer, we bet, than any pair of slippers you’ve tried before.

But that’s not all. They’re stylish too, made from 100% leather or suede (depending on the style and color you choose). And all of the colors are great.

The leather is also water-resistant. Yep, even the suede. Combined with the rubber sole, you have a pretty versatile slipper on your hands… er, feet.

Now, we’re not suggesting you wear them to the gym. But those quick trips outside to the mailbox or trash can, maybe a trip to the store or a walk around the block with your dog, those are no problem.

In other words, you’ll rarely have to take your UGGs off, if you don’t want to (and you probably won’t). And yet they’ll last you, day in and day out, for years.

They’re durable.

Just keep in mind that they take a little time to break-in. That may sound kind of weird for a pair of slippers, but they are leather, after all. Quality leather footwear almost always has a brief adjustment period.

Most reviewers who buy their normal size find that the UGG Men’s Ascot Slipper fits a bit tight out of the box, but then they loosen and soften until they fit like a glove. The more you break them in, the more comfortable they get.

Before long, you may forget you’re even wearing them.

The Good

  • Inside of the slipper is lined with authentic sheep’s wool, for maximum warmth and comfort
  • Quality materials and design mean these slippers will last you for years
  • Comfortable but stylish, with a variety of great suede or leather colors to choose from

The Bad

  • They take a few days to break-in

2. Best orthopedic slipper with arch support, anti-slip sole: WALK HERO Men’s Slippers with Arch Support

WALK HERO Men’s Slippers with Arch Support

What stands out about these slippers

  • Arch support and heel support for reduced foot pain
  • Durable anti-slip rubber sole
  • Moisture-wicking
  • Comfortable

The best slippers for

Guys who want or need a little extra foot support

Overview

For most guys, the soft, thin sole found in slippers is part of what makes them so comfortable.

After all, no one is lounging around the house in a pair of hard-soled dress shoes.

But for other guys, your typical slipper sole lacks support – and that lack of support causes some major discomfort. Ouch.

So, what’s the solution?

Introduce a little more support to your lounge game through orthopedic slippers.

And our pick for the best orthopedic slippers is WALK HERO. Their orthotic insoles are contoured to the natural shape of your foot, with both support for your arches and a cup to cradle your heel.

So, whether you suffer from plantar fasciitis, pronation (flat feet), Achilles tendinitis, or a variety of other foot ailments and pains, these will provide the relief you’ve been looking for. The inserts come in both suede and fleece, depending on your preference.

Plus, the mule-style design makes them easy to slip on or off without having to bend or maneuver your foot.

But even without the orthopedics, these are a solid pair of slippers.

The upper is made of weathered canvas, which comes in a variety of colors. Not only is it breathable, but it’s also durable too. If you get them a little wet when you’re taking the dog out, no worries.

Yes, you can take them outside, because they’ve got a thick, durable rubber outsole, which is both anti-slip and water-resistant. Wear them on the porch, in the car, or even at the local convenience store.

Finally, they’re backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee, so you can buy with confidence.

How about the negatives?

Well, because of the open-back design, the breathable canvas used in the uppers, and the thinner lining, these aren’t going to provide nearly the same level of warmth that you’d find in our #1 pick – or even some of the other picks on our list.

But not everyone needs their feet to be that warm anyway.

The Good

  • Features contoured arch support and a deep heel cup to reduce foot pain and control foot motion
  • Weathered canvas upper and non-slip rubber sole make for an outdoor-friendly slipper
  • Very affordable, these won’t break the bank

The Bad

  • Not as warm as some of our other picks

3. Best anti-odor: RockDove Men’s Moc Slipper with SILVADUR Anti-Odor Protection

RockDove Men's Moc Slipper with SILVADUR Anti-Odor Fabric

What stands out about these slippers

  • Fights odor and bacteria
  • Memory foam insole
  • Warm

The best slippers for

Fellas with foot odor issues

Overview

If you just finished up a hard gym session or were on your feet at the office all day, it’s understandable – and even expected – that you’ll have a little foot odor.

We’re guys, after all. Stinky feet just kind of come with the territory.

But there are some guys that produce more odors than others. And there are some situations where this can become a problem.

For instance, sweaty, stinky feet wafting up from your slippers while you’re cuddled up on the couch can quickly turn Netflix and chill into Netflix and “My God, what is that smell? It smells like a used diaper covered in Indian food”.

Fortunately, there’s a solution for the stinkier bros among us.

And that’s anti-odor slippers.

With anti-odor, anti-bacteria technology, like that found in RockDove Men’s Moc Slippers, your sweaty and stinky feet will be a whole lot less sweaty and stinky.

Dare we say, they might not even sweat or stink at all. Because the SILVADUR anti-odor fabric in these particular slippers boasts a 99% reduction in odor-causing bacteria.

And this is great for the people around you, who will no longer have their nostrils assaulted by your gnarly foot funk.

But you’ll be a whole lot more comfortable, too. And that’s what really matters, right?

Of course, these RockDove slippers bring more to the table than just anti-odor protection. For starters, they come with a memory foam insole for extra comfort – and even a little arch support. Not as much as our #2 pick, but it’s still nice to have.

And they come with a thick rubber sole, with anti-skid traction to keep you from slipping and sliding around if you take a quick trip outside.

So, what’s the catch?

Well, unfortunately, they’re made of cotton, which means they’re not very durable. While our #1 pick might last you a few years, these might only make it 6 months. But hey, they’re one of the cheapest pairs on our list, so you get what you pay for, as the saying goes.

The Good

  • SILVADUR anti-odor fabric uses silver-ions to attack stink-causing bacteria, with a 99%+ reduction in odor
  • Memory foam insole and thick anti-skid outsole make them good for all surfaces
  • One of the most affordable picks on our list

The Bad

  • Less durable than many others on this list

4. Old Friend Men’s Step-in Slipper

Old Friend Men's Step-in Slipper

What stands out about these slippers

  • Sheepskin lining
  • Suede upper with a Velcro closure
  • Open-toe design

The best slippers for

Men with wide or swollen feet

Overview

Seattle-based Old Friend Footwear makes slippers that are unique in a lot of ways, not the least of which is that they use 100% sheepskin in the construction of many of their models.

That’s true of the Old Friend Step-In Slipper design, which is lined with soft, silky sheepskin.

Its upper, meanwhile, consists of soft-napped suede leather that’s comfortable and durable.

Just to note, Old Friend also makes slippers that feature terrycloth, acrylic, and plaid cotton lining. Like the sheepskin lining, all provide exceptional comfort. The sheepskin liner is removable.

The Step-In Slipper also has an open toe design, which promotes better airflow and breathability, which, in turn, keeps your feet from overheating and/or becoming sweaty.

It also comes with a durable rubber sole, which means you can use it for light outdoor use if you so choose.

The Good

  • Open-toe design and Velcro closure make them easy to put on and adjust to fit your feet
  • Real sheepskin lining and removable sheepskin insole, for maximum comfort and warmth
  • Suede upper and quality construction mean these will hold up for a while

The Bad

  • Sole feels stiff to some wearers

5. Acorn Men’s Moc Slipper

Acorn Men's Moc Slipper

What stands out about these slippers

  • Perfect for an active lifestyle
  • The lining prevents excess sweating
  • The outsoles are good for outdoor and indoor use

The best slippers for

Guys who are active and like to move around

Overview

It’s not easy finding a slipper that’s fit for an astronaut. But that’s exactly what you’ll find with the ACORN Men’s Moc Slipper, which has been worn by astronauts on every NASA Space Shuttle mission since 1982.

It all started in 1976, however, when Maine outdoorsman David Quinn designed a slipper sock for his friends and fellow outdoor buffs.

The popularity of the Original Slipper Sock led to other Acorn designs, including the Moc slipper that’s suitable for indoor and outdoor use. And, as mentioned, good for outer space use.

The Acorn Moc is just one in a line of quality slippers produced by Quinn’s company – a line that includes Classic Comfort, Studio Comfort, Spa Comfort, and more.

Unlike many slippers for men, or for women for that matter, Acorn’s slippers consist of 100% polyester blend that makes them perfect for men who are animal-conscious. You won’t find natural hides in the construction of the Acorn Moc.

The uppers have the look of (faux) suede and fur, and are very durable. Unlike with slippers made of real suede, you can machine wash your Acorn Mocs to keep them looking as good as new.

A natural blend lining helps the Moc achieve maximum breathability and moisture control. Your feet stay comfortably warm without you having to worry about excess sweat.

The foot cushion is multilayered and provides superior comfort with every step you take, while the arch support delivers maximum stability.

Another reason to love Acorn’s Mocs is their skid-resistant outsole.

Again, you can wear these slippers practically anywhere: inside your home, in your hammock, around the firepit, or just for running out to grab the mail or for another quick errand.

The Good

  • All-day slipper, with quality construction and durable outsole
  • Breathable, moisture-wicking lining to keep your feet sweat-free
  • Various materials to choose from, including fleece, faux fur, and canvas

The Bad

  • Some reviewers don’t like the feel of the acorn emblem

6. Deer Stags Men’s Wherever Indoor Outdoor Sock Slipper

Deer Stags Men’s Wherever Indoor Outdoor S.U.P.R.O. Sock Slipper

What stands out about these slippers

  • Good for indoor and outdoor use
  • Superior insole comfort
  • Solid, slip-resistant outsole

The best slippers for

Men who want a good-looking slipper on a budget

Overview

Wait a sec – did someone say that Deer Stags’ Indoor Outdoor sock slippers are like “sweatpants for your feet?” Yes, they did and whether that’s a case of hyperbole or not, it’s not a bad way to describe the comfort level of these slippers.

Deer Stags experience in the footwear game goes back to 1929, so they obviously know a thing or two about keeping your feet comfortable and cozy. With the Men’s Wherever sock slipper, you’ll enjoy the comfort whether you’re in your home or outdoors.

And their versatility extends to their style, too. They look great with your pajamas when you’re lounging about the house, but you can also wear them with some great looking jeans without catching grief for it.

Why?

Because of their micro-suede upper that has a classic, stylish look, as well as superb embroidery detail.

Make no mistake, however, these stylish, comfortable slipper socks are fit for indoor and outdoor use, thanks in large part to their thermoplastic rubber outsoles that provide support while standing up to the less-forgiving outdoor terrain.

Not that we’re saying you should wear your Deer Stags on a hike – you do have to be careful not to mar the suede uppers, after all – but they’re perfect for a leisurely stroll about town or something simpler, like getting the newspaper or mail.

You can even wear them to the coffee shop.

Of course, comfort is king when it comes to slippers and the Deer Stags’ soft lining and padded insole provides all-day shock absorption and provide comfort whether you wear them with socks or bare feet.

You’ll appreciate that the support feels as solid and stable as your regular shoes.

The “secret” is Deer Stags’ patented S.U.P.R.O. Sock lining that even provides extra heel cushioning.

The Good

  • U.P.R.O. sock liner makes them really comfortable
  • Slip-resistant, indoor/outdoor sole provides great versatility
  • Stylish clog design, that looks good with everything from sweatpants to jeans

The Bad

  • May run a bit small

7. Tamarac By Slippers International Men’s Scruffy Clog Slippers

The best slippers for

There’s nothing wrong with spoiling yourself after a hard day’s work. You deserve it. Your feet deserve it.

You’ll also enjoy the Tamarac’s memory foam insole that comforts your tired feet and cushions your every stride. The last you want to do after a long day is walk around in footwear – or no footwear – that adds more physical and mental strain.

Because it’s a clog-style slipper, it’s open in the back and allows you to slip in and out of it with ease. The hard rubber outsole, meanwhile, provides excellent enough traction to make the Tamarac good for occasional outdoor use.

In case you’re wondering, Slippers International is a Massachusetts-based wholesaler of men’s, women’s, boy’s, and girl’s footwear, including slippers, shoes, boots and sandals.

The Tamarac earns plenty of rave reviews and with good reason because we think they’re the best men’s leather house slippers.

Reviewers like that the Tamarac’s solid sole makes them good for indoor and outdoor use, and the ease at which they can slip into them. While the Tamarac may feel a bit tight in the beginning, they break in easily and quickly to provide a perfect fit.

You can get the Men’s Scruffy Clog Slippers in a variety of colors: black, navy, allspice, root beer, and charcoal grey.

The Good

  • Solid rubber sole that rises up the sides of the slipper make these one of the best picks for outdoor use

  • Fleece lining and memory foam insole for top-notch comfort and warmth

The Bad

  • Some reviewers say the insole becomes too warm

8. Baffin Unisex Cush Insulated Slipper

Baffin Unisex Cush Insulated Slipper

What stands out about these slippers

  • Provide excellent warmth
  • Unisex
  • Good for indoor and outdoor wear

The best slippers for

Men who want a pair of slippers for camping

Overview

Earlier, we talked about “sweatpants” for your feet – a description (not ours) used when discussing Deer Stags’ Indoor Outdoor Sock Slipper.

Now we’re going to talk about “sleeping bags” for your feet, which is an apt description for the Baffin Unisex Cush Insulated Slipper.

Come to think of it, the Cush slipper somewhat resembles a sleeping bag thanks to a nylon outer that helps keep the cold out and the heat inside.

One would expect that Canadian-based Baffin knows a thing or two about keeping feet warm during the coldest of days and nights.

Not only that, but Baffin understands that comfortable slippers don’t have to be just for indoor use, but also for folks who take their slippers with them camping or while traveling.

Baffin is committed to developing footwear, and not only slippers, that withstands the elements while providing superior comfort at all times.

All that said, there’s plenty to like about the Unisex Cush Insulated Slipper beyond its overall comfort (and the fact that they’re suitable for men and women).

  • Cush slipper has a drawstring closure that you would see on the outer shell of your jacket or, yes, a sleeping bag. The drawstring prevents the slippers from coming off with extended use.
  • As mentioned, the nylon outer keeps out the cold while the down-filled insole provides warmth and comfort whether you’re walking, lying down, or standing.
  • The insole is “Polar Proven” and hugs every curve of your feet.
  • The synthetic outsole provides excellent traction and is good for both indoor and outdoor terrain. While you wouldn’t wear these slippers on a long hike, you can still travel short distances outside comfortably.
  • The drawstring cord also makes it easy to take the slippers on and off.
  • The insole is warm but not too warm so that it makes your feet sweat.

The Good

  • Nylon exterior is resistant to the elements and easy to wash
  • Fabric outsoles make them flexible and comfortable enough to sleep in
  • Unisex design and a variety of colors, good for men and women

The Bad

  • Some reviewers suggest that the insole could provide more cushioning

How we chose our best slippers

A lot of things go into the making of a good slipper and we considered many factors. Comfort is at the top of the list, of course, but other things separate a good slipper from a bad one, including design, durability, stability, etc.

We also examined the versatility of each slipper, especially since many of them have a dual indoor-outdoor capability, as well as the traction of its soles.

Price is another factor, and we’re always mindful of the fact that the best things aren’t always the most expensive. We always strive to include products to fit a variety of budgets, however.

Taking care of your slippers: The basics (A simple, illustrated guide)

Once you’ve found slippers that best fit your needs and are always comfortable, you’ll quickly enjoy their many benefits. But you want them to last and choosing for durability is an important consideration.’

However, you can take a proactive approach by taking care of your slippers properly to ensure their long, happy life. The following are tips for taking good care of your leather, suede, or cotton slippers.

  • Leather

how-to-take-care-of-your-slippers-1
Consistently cleaning the exteriors of your leather slippers helps to extend their lifespan. However, make sure to use products, such as non-enzyme liquid soaps, that won’t ruin or discolor the leather.

After you’ve washed the outside of your leather slippers, let them air dry for five minutes before shining them with a soft cotton cloth. You should also use a leather shoe conditioner to keep the exteriors soft and moisturized; doing so helps your slippers age better. Baby wipes are handy for cleaning the insides of your slippers, especially those lined with fleece.

  • Suede

how-to-take-care-of-your-slippers-2
Perhaps the most important thing to know about caring for suede slippers is that you cannot machine wash or hand wash them – or in any way that submerges them in water. Should you spill something on the suede, you a clean towel to blot (not rub) at the spill until it’s gone.

You can use a damp towel to wipe up spills if your suede slippers are waterproof. If the stain is stubborn, invest in a suede cleaning kit that comes with a stain eraser and stiff suede brush. Soft-textured sandpaper can remove mud and scuff marks.

As with genuine leather slippers, use a baby wipe to clean the interior of your suede slippers. Baby wipes work well with fleece and cotton-lined interiors.

  • Cotton

how-to-take-care-of-your-slippers-3
One of the best things about cotton slippers is how easy they are to clean. You can toss them in the washing machine (just make sure you use warm, not hot, water), or you can wash them by hand in a sink filled with warm, soapy water.

If you use a sink, let your slippers soak in the soapy water for about 10 minutes before you rinse them out. Let your slippers air dry once you’ve rinsed the soap out.

Why slippers are best vs. all the rest

Comfort. Coziness. Easy on the feet. There are plenty of reasons why slippers are better than the rest when it comes to footwear for the home. True, many slippers are good for some outdoor use, but our focus is on their many benefits for home use.

1. Slippers keep you healthy

Many experts agree that having cold feet increases your chances of catching colds or the flu. For some reason, chilly feet decrease your body’s ability to fight off illnesses and disease. Moreover, slippers protect against foot infections, unlike walking around your house in your bare feet.

2. Wear slippers, keep your house clean

Most of us would cringe if we understood the number of bacteria, dirt, grime, and other nasty stuff that we drag into the house from the soles of your shoes. So, take your shoes off at the door and put on your slippers instead. You and your house will be better for it.

3. Slippers prevent accidents

Slip-sliding around your wood, linoleum, or tile floors is an accident waiting to happen when you’re wearing socks. Most slippers – at least the best ones – have slip-resistant soles that serve you well when you’re rushing to answer the door or to tend to a boiling-over pot on your stove.

4. Comfort means productivity

It’s tough to tend to household tasks when your feet are freezing. Studies show that productive workers are relaxed workers, and nothing quite illustrates “relaxed” than a nice pair of warm, comfortable slippers.

5. Slippers are lifesavers for your socks

Tired of always having to buy new socks when your current ones develop holes in them? Well, wearing your socks around the home adds wear and tear, but slippers will give both your socks and your feet a break.

Slippers aren’t the only game in town, of course, although we highly recommend them for home use. Let’s take a look at other types of footwear – namely, flip-flops, sandals, and shoes – and how they compare to slippers when worn about the house.

Flip-flops

Some men swear by flip-flops, many others don’t. Not that there’s a lot to love or hate about them, but flip-flops are more of a personal taste, perhaps, than other types of footwear. Here’s the thing, however.

Podiatrists say that you should only wear flip-flops occasionally, like at the beach or swimming pool, because they offer almost no protection or support for your feet. And, because flip-flops have flat soles, they place undue tension and pulling of the plantar fascia.

That’s reason enough to limit your flip-flop use to only a handful of occasions. Not to continue our ambush of flip-flops, but they’re also dangerous because they don’t secure themselves to your feet like slippers, sandals, or shoes. You certainly don’t want to get one caught in a step, or an escalator.

Sandals

There aren’t many differences between sandals and flip-flops, although you can easily tell them apart, and many of the same potential hazards exist for wearing sandals for a prolonged period around the house.

For one, most sandals have flat soles that place extra tension on your plantar fascia. For another, sandals typically aren’t as snug as slippers and may fall off and cause mishaps.

Shoes

Nothing against shoes, because all of us wear them, but there are a lot of reasons not to wear them inside the house, not the least of which is giving your tired feet a break at the end of a long day.

But, as mentioned earlier, the soles of your shoes collect a lot of unhealthy, nasty stuff throughout your day – stuff that you shouldn’t spread all over your home’s floors knowingly. Some parents of newborns insist on wearing shoes in the house to prevent the risk of slipping, while others like wearing them because they’ve grown tired of stepping on children’s toys (if you’ve ever stepped on a Lego you understand their pain).

Conclusion
